Black Friday Deals 2025: Offers on Products I’ve Reviewed

Am I the only one who waits for Black Friday to buy things I want for myself? Well, whether you are picking up items you’ve had your eye on or actually shopping for others, there are often some sales worth checking out. So, once again this year, I’m highlighting available discounts on products I’ve reviewed or otherwise personally use.

By the way, if you want to be alerted to special offers year-round, I’ve just launched a new Deals page with product discounts, bank bonuses, enhanced credit card offers, and more!

Jack Archer White Jetsetter Tech Pants

Jack Archer

  • Current Deal: 47% off
  • Regular Price: $89 for Jetsetter Tech Pant

Back when I did my pants showdown article, I came away impressed with the overall style, quality, and comfort of the Jack Archer pants. Since then, they’ve actually become a core part of my favorite travel outfit! That’s why I’m excited to see that the company is offering 25% off sitewide for Black Friday, meaning that their Jetsetter Tech Pants are $66.75 each. Plus, the brand continues to expand, so there are plenty of other items you can score for 25% off right now as well.

I should note that, since the last time I wrote about Jack Archer, their retail price has actually gone down! Now, the pants list at $89 instead of $149. Granted, I don’t know how often they ever really sold for $149 — nor have I ordered any pairs recently to ensure they are the same quality. I’m guessing everything is the same and they just decided to embrace the true price. Regardless, at $66.75 a pair, I’d definitely give these a try.

Allbirds

  • Current Deal: Up to 50% off
  • Regular Price: $145 for Wool Runner-Up Mizzles

For years now, my Allbirds Runner-Up Mizzles are my go-to travel shoe. However, the company recently launched a line of fully waterproof high tops that have caught my eye. For this sale, the new Wool Runner NZ Mid Waterproof are 30% off, putting the price at a reasonable $112 versus the $160 retail price. Meanwhile, the regular Runner-Up Mizzles are on sale for $87 — although they have very limited sizes.

If you’re wondering which Allbirds models are 50% off, some examples include the Tree Dasher Relay, Tree Runner Go, Tree Topper, and more. As a result, these options start as low as $67. But, if you’re after the water-repellent or waterproof options, you’ll have to settle for a lesser discount.

Suavs

  • Current Deal: Up to 40% off
  • Regular Price: $98 for Zilkers

While the Allbirds are what I wear on the plane or in the car for trip, what I bring in my suitcase are my Suavs Zilkers. These comfy and insanely packable shoes are great to throw on and go. Plus, they remain the only shoes I’m actually comfortable wearing without socks.

Suavs’ Black Friday sale offers “up to 40% off.” However, the Zilkers are just 20% off, bringing them to $78.40. Annoyingly, the site doesn’t seem to highlight the sale price until you add them to your cart, so I can’t easily advise on which models are 40% off. But, seeing as the Zilkers are the only ones I’ve tried anyway, I guess just stick with those!

Travel Accessories

Halfday

  • Current Deal: 20% off
  • Regular Price: $128 for the Garment Duffle

One brand that’s exploded since it first came to my attention is Halfday. I first purchased the Halfday Garment Duffle a few years ago as I was drawn to the idea of having a duffle for suits or other formalwear but also being able to pack other clothes along with it (you can see more in my review). More recently, I got a chance to check out their Roamer Backpack, which is another clever product perfect for quick trips.

Keeping things simple, Halfday’s Black Friday deal is 20% off their bags. That makes the standard-sized Garment Duffle $102 while the smaller version (which I haven’t had a chance to try, but I suspect I would prefer) is currently $94. You could also splurge for the premium versions of either bag to take advantage of the 25% off. Meanwhile, the Roamer Backpack is also on sale for $102 instead of the regular $128.

Of course, if you happen to miss this sale, you can still get 15% off using our referral code.

Away Hanging Toiletry Bag

Away

  • Current Deal: 25% off
  • Regular Price: $198 for The Everywhere Zip Backpack, $85 for The Hanging Toiletry Bag

While I now enjoy having that Halfday Roamer Backpack for weekend trips where I only want to bring one bag, for most travels, my Away Zip Backpack is still the winner. Since purchasing it, I’ve also added the Hanging Toiletry Bag and some Away packing cubes to our travel staples.

Away is offering 25% off sitewide for its Black Friday sale. That brings the Hanging Toiletry Bag to (an admittedly still pricey) $63 while the Everywhere Zip Backpack is $148. If you have more to spend and are in the market for larger luggage, there are also some deals on bundles.

Aeropress

  • Current Deal: 25% off (on Amazon)
  • Regular Price: $50 for the AeroPress Go

Somewhere along the way, the Aeropress Go became my morning savior while on the road. We use this handy device alongside a foldable electric kettle to brew delicious (and affordable) coffee from whatever domestic hotel room we’re in. I’ve found this to be especially useful in Vegas, where in-room coffee makers are hard to come by and Starbucks prices are downright outrageous.

For this Black Friday, the Aeropress Go happens to be on sale at Amazon. Normally priced at $50, it’s $37.47 today. The updated and fancier Aeropress Go Plus is also 25% off, taking it down to $67.46 from nearly $90. So, if you love coffee as much as I do, I’d recommend picking one of these up for your next trip.

Tech Items

Solis Go front and back views

Solis

  • Current Deal: Up to 44% off
  • Regular Price: $160 for Solis Lite, $359 for Solis 5G

Solis is back with another Black Friday offer of up to 35% off its hotspots. Since last year, the company has rolled out a number of new devices — that, quite frankly, confuse their line-up. In addition to the Solis Lite and Solis 5G we’ve grown familiar with, now there’s also the Solis Edge, Solis Hero, and Solis Go. To me, the Edge looks like the 5G and the Hero appears similar to the Lite (while the Go is something new and different). That said, there are subtle differences in these devices you’ll want to explore before deciding.

As for pricing, the deepest discount is the Solis Lite at just $89 (it’s normally $160) followed by the Solis 5G at $249 instead of $359. Both devices include 1GB of global data per month for the life of the device, while the 5G price also includes a one-time bonus of 10GB to be used within three months. Elsewhere, you can currently pick up the Solis Edge for $169, the Solis Hero for $129, and the Solis Go for $89.

Ozlo Sleepbuds

  • Current Deal: $75 off one pair
  • Regular Price: $349

As I’ve previously explained, I don’t actually have the Ozlo Sleepbuds — but they are the successor to the Bose Sleepbuds 2 that I love so much. This holiday season, Ozlo is discounting their Sleepbuds and even increasing the discount if you buy multiples (everyone loves the gift of sleep!). Currently, you can pick up one set for $75 off, making them $274. That discount increases to $270 if you buy three sets, so a heavenly $777 versus the $1,047 list price.

The bad news is that, last year, the Sleepbuds retailed for $299 versus the current $349. However, this year’s discount puts them in the same range as last year’s sale. Ultimately, these aren’t cheap but, if they’re as good as the Bose editions, I think they’re worth it for both travel and sleeping through noisy nights at home.

Yale Smartlock

  • Current Deal: Up to 23% off (on Amazon)
  • Regular Price: $280 for the Yale Assure Lock 2 Touch with WiFi

It’s now been two years since we bought a house — and one of the very first purchases we made afterward was a Yale smart lock. Although this was pricey, I have thoroughly enjoyed having it and made good use of it.

Looking at Yale’s site, it seems that their Black Friday sale is pretty underwhelming (at least for the Assume Lock 2) at just 10%. Meanwhile, though, Amazon has the Assure Lock 2 Touch with Wifi for as little as $190. The one shown seems a bit different than mine, with physical buttons versus a touch pad, but the idea is the same. And, compared to the $252 on Yale, Amazon’s deal is pretty good.

Creator Tools

Envato

  • Current Deal: 25% off annual plans
  • Regular Price: $198 per year for the Individual plan

When it comes to making YouTube videos, having access to stock footage has made my life so much easier. For my b-roll needs, I’ve been using Envato for a few years now. What I love is that the service not only includes video but the plan also includes stock photos, music, and more. Plus, downloads are unlimited, so I don’t need to worry about rationing my usage.

Currently, Envato is offering 25% off its annual Individual plans. They state that this makes it $12.38 a month, but you’ll actually pay $148.56 for the year upfront. That’s $50 off the regular price, and I personally think it’s well worth it.

Turn a long video into 10 short clips in 1 click: OpusClip

Opus Clip

  • Current Deal: 65% off yearly Pro plan
  • Regular Price: $348 per year

Can I tell you a secret? I hate making YouTube Shorts. Or at least I did before I finally got Opus Clip. With this service, I can turn my long-form videos into Shorts by having them automatically reframed, captioned, and even cut together from multiple parts of my video. Plus, even if I’m making Shorts “manually,” it’s great to have Opus add captions, give me title and description ideas, and more.

For Black Friday, Opus is offering a yearly Pro subscription for 65% off. That adds up to $121.80 instead of the standard $348. My only warning is that this plan is still based on a credit system, so it’s not unlimited. That said, I haven’t come close to using up all of my credits despite using the platform regularly. All in all, if you’re a YouTuber, podcaster, or other creator, OpusClip could save you a ton of time, making this $121 well spent.

And More

person using Loop ear plugs

Loop Earplugs

  • Current Deal: Up to 25% off
  • Regular Price: $59.95 for Loop Switch 2

Recently, I wrote about my Loop Earplugs and how they successfully saved my ears at a loud concert. Well, if you too would like to protect your hearing or get earplugs just to tune out the world a bit, Loop is offering a Black Friday sale.

Right now, various models are 20% to 25% off. The two models I have — the Loop Switch 2 and the Loop Experience 2 — are both in the 20% off category, making them $47.96 and $27.96, respectively. So, before you head to your next concert of other loud event, you might want to pick up these stylish and safety-conscious devices.

Bero

  • Current Deal: Buy one 12-pack, get one free
  • Regular Price: $26.50

When I made my list of my favorite non-alcoholic beers, I noted that Bero (which comes from Spider-Man actor Tom Holland) happens to be my wife’s personal favorite. As someone who drinks regular beer, she says that these NAs come closest to replicating the taste and mouthfeel of the real thing. Perhaps that’s why the brand has continued to grow in the past year!

Now comes Bero’s special Black Friday sale. Currently, when you buy one 12-pack, you can get another one for free. That’s a savings of $26.50. If you’re looking for which style to get, my new favorite is the Double Tasty West Coast IPA — but the other options are great as well.

That concludes this year’s round-up! Hopefully you can take advantage of at least one of these deals while they last. On that note, I suspect that most of the brands will be repeating their offers on Cyber Monday, but be sure to check for yourself. Happy shopping!
