Buy One, Get One Chipotle is Just a Beat Away

Chiptole lineWhenever you mention Chipotle to someone, you’re likely to get one of two distinct reactions: “ooooo” or “ewww.” In many cases, that latter reaction is the result of a rough patch the burrito chain went through involving an E. coli outbreak along with some other food safety issues. Ever since then, the company has been working hard to re-earn their guests’ trust and climb their way back to the top of your favorite restaurants list. One part of that mission involves giving away some free food.

The latest promo from Chipotle comes via a partnership with RZA of Wu-Tang Clan fame dubbed “Savor.Wavs.” By visiting the Savor.Wavs site through August 31st, you can create a song inspired by your Chipotle order and, much more importantly, score a coupon for buy one, get one free entrees (while supplies last). Basically, all you have to do is click the “Make Your Mix” button on the homepage, select your ingredients, and then hit “Wrap it Up.” After a bit of load time, your musical creation will play as you garnish it with a couple of extra touches of production. Then comes the best part — you can enter your name and mobile phone number and confirm you’re not a robot to have your buy one, get one coupon sent directly to your phone. I can’t speak to Android or any other OS, but it was insanely easy to add my BOGO coupon to my iPhone’s Wallet and redeem it at my local Chipotle.

A couple of things to note. First, I’m not 100% sure what they mean by “while supplies last,” but my wife was actually able to obtain the coupon earlier today. Secondly, while the promotion is set to last through August 31st, the coupon you receive also expires on that day. Lastly, as you’d expect, the offer is limited to one coupon per mobile phone number as well. Other than that, the deal is as good as it sounds — my wife and I even managed to get dinner for two for just $7 the other night (side note: I recommend a burrito with half chicken, half chorizo).

So if you’re ready to give Chipotle another try (or never stopped loving them) and this buy one, get one deal is music to your thrifty ears, you’ll want to check out Savor.Wavs site before this awesome promotion fades out.

Well, it now seems as though Delta is taking...
