Solis’s Memorial Day Hotspot Sale is Perfect for Summer Travel

Solis 1 and Solis 5G WiFi devices

If you’re heading overseas this summer, you might find it helpful to have a mobile hotspot with global data at your disposal. So, in what is certainly no coincidence, Solis is having a Memorial Day Weekend sale. As a result, you can currently score discounted hotspots as well as data plans.

With this Memorial Day sale, you can save 20% off the retail price. This brings the price of the Solis 5G down to $320 and the Solis Lite to $128. But wait — there’s more. I’ve confirmed that my coupon code can be stacked on this offer, meaning that you can get the 5G for $288 or the Lite for $115. To get this deal, enter the code MONEY30 at checkout and the 10% discount will be applied.

I’ve been a long-time user of Solis, having purchased the Solis 1 way back in 2019. That device subsequently went with me to places like Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Paris — providing me with mobile data along the way. More recently, I received the Solis 5G as a Christmas gift and have been enjoying some of the updated features. I finally had the chance to take my Solis 5G on the road, which also marked my first opportunity to connect it to a 5G network. What I found was that the download speeds I got from the Solis were better than what my hotel WiFi was giving me!

What’s extra great about Solis’s current devices is that they now include 1 GB of global data each month. Previously, I’d purchase their daypasses or by-the-GB data when traveling — but, now, I’m all set to go with just the device itself. This makes it a no-brainer to throw in my suitcase and take as a backup whether I’m traveling domestically or internationally. And, speaking of backups, the hotspot has also come in handy a couple of times when my Internet and/or power have gone out.

Of course, while 1 GB is likely enough for shorter trips or ones where you’re only doing a few things online, you may want to top-up. Luckily, Solis does allow you to pre-purchase GBs of Global or Domestic data, with the cost per GB getting cheaper as you buy larger quantities. These GBs don’t expire and, importantly, your included data will always be used before your additional purchases are tapped.

These pre-paid GBs are also on sale as part of the Memorial Day promotion, which means you can get 1 GB of Global for $9.60, 5 GB for $44, 10 GB for $80, or 20 GB for $144. Once again, that MONEY30 code can also be used for these data packages, so 1 GB of Global Data is currently $8.64 while 20 GB will cost you about $130 during this sale when you also use the MONEY30 code at checkout.

Whether you’ve been thinking about getting a Solis hotspot or want to stock up on data for your existing device, this Memorial Day sale could be a could opportunity — especially as it comes just before the summer travel season really gets swinging. So, be sure to check it out before this particular sale ends.
