Solis 1 and Solis 5G WiFi devices

You Can Save 25% Off Solis Mobile Hotspots (For 2 Days Only)

My go-to mobile hotspot device is having a major sale. From now through Wednesday (expiring after October 9th at 11:59 p.m. PT), you can save 25% off Solis devices and data plans. To take advantage of this sale, you can use my link and enter FALL25 at checkout. With this discount, you can currently save nearly $100 on the Solis 5G, bringing the total to $285. Meanwhile, the Solis Lite becomes $120 after the discount (marking a savings of about $40). Plus, both devices ship for free within the United States.

I’ve been a Solis user for five years now — starting off with their original device before upgrading to the Solis 5G last year. What I like about the service is that it offers a variety of data plan options that can be used in more than 135 countries around the world. As for the device itself, I’ve enjoyed using the Solis 5G so far — thanks in no small part to new features such as SignalScan.

What’s also great is that Solis devices now include 1 GB of global data per month for life. This is a huge feature for me as I used to buy per-GB data before leaving on international trips. Now, I can make use of my included gigabyte before any other data I’ve purchased is redeemed. On that note, if you do want to purchase and bank additional data, the FALL25 promo code also applies to those purchases.

Outside of this FALL25 promotion, Solis is also offering special bundle deals that can score customers three free months of unlimited USA data. While the FALL25 discount won’t stack with this offer, these bundles are $285 for the Solis 5G and $120 for the Solis Lite (in other words, matching the 25% off). Plus, while the unlimited USA data feature expires at the end of the year, these bundles do still feature the lifetime 1 GB of global data per month deal. That said, it should be noted that these unlimited USA data plans include 100GBs of high-speed data per month while reduced speeds may apply after that.

Whether you opt for the FALL25 deal of one of the USA data bundles, now seems to be a great time to pick up a Solis hotspot device. Personally, I not only use mine while traveling overseas but have also relied on it as a backup when my regular connection goes out (which is where that USA data bundle might just come in handy). So, be sure to check out Solis’s site before these offers end.

Solis is Launching Yet Another New Global WiFi Hotspot Model
Back in 2019, I purchased my first Solis (then known as Skyroam Solis) international hotspot device. Since then, though, the company has rolled out a number of new models — and that pace has really hastened over the past couple of years. That continued this month as preorders for their new Solis Tag device opened....

Everything You Need to Know About Flying Allegiant Air in 2026
Updated on February 3, 2026 When my wife and I moved to Springfield, Missouri more than a decade ago, one of the selling points (or at least what kept it in the running) was that there was a nearby airport that served a decent number of destinations. Unfortunately, while it is convenient, flying out of...

Travel Tuesday: July Capsule Carry On Pro Luggage Review
I've never been a big fan of hardshell luggage. Mainly, my issue is that the typical clamshell design that splits the bag into two equal parts...
Another Centurion Lounge Access Policy Update is Now in Effect
Over the past several years, the popularity of airport lounge networks has caused these locations to adjust their entry rules. For example, Delta Sky Clubs now limit the number of times Amex Platinum and Delta SkyMiles Reserve cardholders can visit per year, while Amex's own Centurion lounges have disallowed cardmembers from bringing guests — although,...
Amex's Saks Fifth Avenue "Make Good" Offers Are More "Meh"
Back in March, American Express announced that the semi-annual Saks Fifth Avenue credit that had been offered on the Platinum card would be removed on July 1st. As I noted when sharing that news, this wasn't a huge loss as the Saks online shopping experience had gotten noticeably worse over the years, making it harder...
