Pair of Allbirds shoes

Allbirds is Having a Massive Sale on Its Awesome Travel Shoes

A few years back, I purchased my first pair of Allbirds as I figured they’d make for a good pair of travel shoes. Sometime later, I added some high-tops to my collection — which I happen to like even more. But, as much as I enjoyed both pairs of shoes, the downside was the price. That’s why I was interested to find that Allbirds is currently having a money-saving “Secret Sale.”

First, by visiting the “Secret Sale” site, you can see some of the eligible options. If the shoe in question is full price, you can enter the code AFF-OCT50 at checkout to save 50%. Alternatively, if the shoes you’re eyeing are already on sale, then you may be able to save an additional 30% using the code AFF-OCT30. Both of these codes expire at the end of the month, so you’ll want to make sure to use them by 11:59 p.m. PDT on Halloween if you’re interested.

I gave the sale page a shot and was able to find a pair of Wool Runner-Up Mizzles (the water-repellant shoes I literally just took a trip to Hong Kong wearing) for just $60.90. While they retail for $145, they were marked down to $87 and then the AFF-OCT30 knocked off another $26. That’s a pretty astounding discount if you ask me.

Before you get too attached the the perfect shoe you found, be aware that not all styles or options will be eligible for these promo codes. And while I wish it was a bit clearer on the page which ones were eligible, I suppose that defeats the point of having a “secret sale.”

By the way, in the event that you do end up missing this sale, I feel compelled to mention that Allbirds does now have a ReRun store. Not only are these gently-used pairs cheaper than their new counterparts but you may even be able to score some limited edition colorways that have since been discontinued.

Bottom line: if you’re in the market for a pair of Allbirds, now could be an awesome chance to get some at a great price. Personally, I love my Runner-Up Mizzles — and this sale has me considering picking up a pair for my wife. I’m also curious about these Wool Flyer Mizzles that I can currently get for $58.80. So, be sure to head to the “Secret Sale” site and try the codes AFF-OCT50 or AFF-OCT30 before 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 31st.
